For this project, the houses were built in Finnish style using calibrated wood to sit most comfortably within the woodland setting. The choice of roof tiles was important both for the look and for the safety advantages that they would bring to the houses: the tiles would need to provide an appropriate weight on the wooden walls to prevent the build-up of static electricity and the risk of fire.
MONIER roofing materials fit perfectly to the complex roof structures of the 45 houses, and at the same time fulfilled ecological requirements set by the developers.
