The traditional Hotel Neptun stands on the edge of the Baltic sea, at Leba, one of the most popular holiday resorts in Poland. Here the natural beauty of the seascape is dominant and the hotel has to withstand the scrutiny of the most discerning of visitors, as well as the salty sea mist, wind and rain.

The brief demanded a roof which could equally measure up to the human and environmental challenges. Being such an historic building, the former castle also required a tile which had a traditional look in keeping with its majesty and splendour.

Braas Taunus tiles together with a gutter system from MONIER Poland were selected for the project. They boasted a smart, clean look and had the highest performance standards protecting the roof and the hotel from the extremes of sea salt and sunshine.
