Luxembourg/Oberursel, 13 December 2011 – New design and “M-Swoosh” icon serve as bridge between international group and traditional local brands
Luxembourg/Oberursel, 13 December 2011 – The Monier Group is launching a refreshed brand identity underlining the company’s strategic focus and its growth course in core business sectors as well as new areas of activity. The corporate design retains links with the former brand identity, which since its introduction five years ago has helped build brand value in all the markets in which the Monier Group is active. As part of the Monier Group, one of the world’s leading provider of building materials for pitched roofs as well as chimney and ventilation systems, the strong product brands that have been established for decades will also refresh their design.
Clear, confident and more modern than ever – fitting words to describe the new identity. While the Monier logo and the corporate colour remain unchanged more emphasis has been placed on the so-called “M-Swoosh” as former additional design elements were revised in the new corporate design. It is already well on the way to becoming both an internal and external trademark.
Strong visual connection between Group and local product brands
The product identities of the other Monier brands, such as Braas, Redland, Wierer and Coverland, have also been refreshed and will now be used not only in sales and marketing communication but for the entire corporate communications. The new corporate design and the “M-Swoosh” serve as a bridge that links all brands, creating cohesion and recognition.
Pepyn Dinandt, Group CEO, says: “Our brand identity, which combines tradition and modernity, reflects Monier’s overall positioning and our vision of realising the full potential of roofs to make people’s homes and lives better. It stands for our expanded strategic focus where we offer a wide range of innovative products that include roof, chimney and ventilation systems and continuously expand our offer of eco-friendly and sustainable solutions.”
While on group level the introduction has already been completed, business units are in the process of gradually rolling out their respective designs.
