Dr. Matthias Stein takes over responsibility for Roofing Components business of the MONIER Group

As of 1 June 2009 Dr. Matthias Stein takes over responsibility for the Monier Roofing Components Business of Monier, the world-leading supplier of roofing and chimney systems. As CEO of Monier Roofing Components GmbH & Co. KG he is in charge of the worldwide business activities with accessories and roof system components for pitched roofs. Sales of these products is organised through the subsidiaries of the Group that are active in 46 markets, either as systems together with concrete or clay tiles, or as accessories.

With a degree in Economics, Matthias Stein started his career in finance at Dyckerhoff AG. In 2003 he joined the Haniel Group where he held various General Manager positions and was a member of the Management Board of Xella International. During the last two years he also served as Chairman of the German Lime Industry Association.
