Group Management Biographies
The MONIER Group is led by a three-member management team.
Pepyn Dinandt, Chief Executive Officer
Pepyn Dinandt holds a degree in Economics from the University of Wales and started his career at Hewlett Packard before joining McKinsey & Company, then held several management positions in a number of industries. He was notably the CEO of Mannesmann Plastics Machinery GmbH and, in his past position, COO and member of the Management Board at Conergy AG. Appointed in July 2008 he is the CEO of the worldwide Monier Group and chairman of the Monier Group S. à r.l. in Luxembourg.
In August 2011 he was appointed member of the Supervisory Board of Conergy AG.
Jürgen Koch, Chief Financial Officer
Dr. Jürgen Koch holds a degree in Economics and was, until June 2008, a board member and CFO for Kuka AG, a listed manufacturer of robots. Before this, he occupied the same position for five years with Pfleiderer AG (engineered wood). He began his career with Metallgesellschaft AG where he occupied various managerial finance positions in subsidiary companies. In September 2008 Jürgen Koch joined Monier Group as CFO. In addition to his responsibilities for Accounting & Consolidation, Controlling & Reporting and Treasury, he is also in charge of Internal Audit, IT and Legal, Tax & Insurance.
GErrit Sames, Chief Technology & Production Officer
Having studied mechanical engineering, Dr. Gerrit Sames joins Monier from the Schott Group, where the last position he held was as a member of the board of directors (COO) of the Schott Solar AG. Before, Dr. Gerrit Sames occupied different positions in the industrial sector at the Buderus Heiztechnik. As CTPO of Monier Group he is since 1 May 2011 responsible for Production, Research & Development, Purchasing and Quality. In addition, he is in charge of the business activities in the area of Energy Systems.
