Underlays or membranes are an essential roof layer enabling protection and energy saving.

Monier’s ranges Divoroll® and Spirtech® are among the leading products of vapour permeable underlays which facilitate the exit of vapour and help the construction to remain dry. Our broad product portfolio includes a variety of robust, high-quality underlays with excellent water and weather proofing performance for insulated roofs with different kinds of roof coverings. The new generations with double adhesive strips for a unique glue-on-glue connection enable quick application even under wet and dusty conditions. In addition, the innovative products ensure wind-tight roof constructions and a potential energy saving of up to 25%.

Monier’s answer to the climate challenges of our time are highly reflective membranes such as Divoroll® Clima+ and Spirtech® Clima+ which combine the advantages of vapour permeable underlays with excellent additional energy performance features. Due to the special metallised surface reflecting up to 83% of radiated heat, our membranes improve summer comfort and reduce the heat entering the living space as well as the temperature at the ceiling level during hot periods. In the cold season, they prevent heat escape and thus lower the energy costs for maintaining comfortable room temperature.

Vapour impermeable underlays are also included in our portfolio. The ranges Veltitech® and Span-Flex® encompass a wide array of solutions for non-insulated roofs in emerging markets and regions.
