SOLAR FIXING

Solar fixings are an essential part of solar installations.

In SOFI® TOP, MONIER has a secure solar fixing system which protects against tile breakage and roof leakage.

SOFI® TOP is a solar fixing for on-roof solar installations on pitched roofs and can be used with either photovoltaic or solar thermal systems. With its flexible rafter-independent position of the fixing point, SOFI® TOP has very high load bearing capabilities. The loads are transmitted directly into the roof’s substructure and do not affect the roofing tiles, a fact which prevents tiles from breakage and leakage of water into the roof. All features - especially the rain tightness - of the new solar fixings were tested in the wind tunnel at the MONIER Technical Centre.
