A chimney system proving that big can be beautiful.
The building of the new BBC offices in London’s White City was a highly prestigious project. Its size and technical specification made it a very demanding brief.
The chimney system needed to cater for heating, hot water, stand-by generators and CHP applications. It was an enormous construction. Moreover, the last thing the BBC wanted was for a collection of different styled chimneys spoiling the look of their sleek new flagship HQ.
The Schiedel ICS5000 Generator System from Schiedel UK was up to the challenge. It was the only chimney system with the functionality to efficiently service all the application needs. By wrapping the four similar styled chimneys within a single steel casing, the appearance of the building was enhanced.
