Boathouse Project
Hua Hin, Thailand
In the Phetchaburi Province in Thailand stands a development designed by leading designer M.L. Tridhosyuth Devakul, the honorary chairman of Boathouse Hua Hin Co., Ltd. Here the style was very much about elegance and enchantment with each of the villas boasting a look and feel which was both contemporary and dramatic. The brief was to find roofing materials which would deliver these aesthetic demands while providing outstanding quality, to prevent leakage and deliver a cool and comfortable living atmosphere to the residents.
Ceris Biber tiles in natural red in combination with dry tech underlays and a specific foil were chosen for the project. MONIER's Thai business unit was able to provide the combination of a uniquely modern Thai style look and feel with unrivalled durability. The colour matched the vision of the designer and the proven ability of the tiles to keep the buildings dry and cool was a further factor in their selection. A total of 7,700 square metres of roof was covered with style and protection.
The result is a development which stands head and shoulders above others of its kind in the region.
