We maintain the efficiency and quality of our existing network of production plants through continuous process optimisation. Whenever we build new plants or upgrade or modernise existing plants, it is to take advantage of improved manufacturing technology.
Our geologists and materials scientists find and validate the raw materials we need for our products. Raw materials sources can have active lives of many tens of years so the materials procurement process always includes close partnerships with planning authorities and local communities to ensure that the environmental impact of our operations is minimal.
We purchase process equipment from key suppliers who have a reputation for state-of-the-art technology and who will comply with our very high internal standards for safety and quality. Each plant investment benefits from the cumulative experience of our international engineering team. New projects are managed locally with significant support from Industrial and Process Engineers seconded from MONIER Technical Centre and other business units.
