New innovative verge solution from MONIER Germany

MONIER Germany now offers an innovative verge solution called “Mantelortgang“, or “cloaked verge”, which is designed to fit the Turmalin and Topas 11 tiles from their Braas clay tile range.

The Mantelortgang is a new concept for Monier Germany, as it is installed level with the regular roof tiles, giving a uniform appearance by continuing the tiling over the gable end. The new verge tile covers the roof’s edge at a height of 130mm and serves as an ideal solution for higher roof structures as the lap length is twice as long as with conventional verge tiles. This allows better protection of the structure overall, and renders verge flashing unnecessary.
