MONIER in Russia sponsors World Championship of Young Roofers

From 9 – 11 September Monier’s Russian business unit, Braas DSK-1, sponsored the 22nd World Championship of Young Roofers in St. Petersburg.
Taking place during the region’s leading building exhibition BalticBuild, 22 teams from 13 countries participated in the championship, which comprised three main competition categories: tiles, underlays and seam metal roofing.
Braas DSK-1 provided the necessary roofing tiles, which participants installed on complex life-sized roof structures.
The Russian team won the competition in both the Tiles and Underlays categories, and Hungary won in Metal Roof. Winners received special roofing tools.
