Central production of innovative roof tiles for five countries

The Monier Group started operation of a new production line for clay roof tiles at its plant in Buchen-Hainstadt south of Frankfurt on 13 June 2008. The special feature of the facility is its state-of-the-art technology which enables roof tiles to be manufactured for the highly individual markets of Germany, France, Great Britain, Belgium and the Netherlands. Monier has invested around 10 million euros in the new system, securing 21 jobs at the plant.
